Privacy Policy

Who we are

The Dynamic Closer is run by me, Luke Jeffery. I have spent years taking high-ticket sales calls, and I now teach other people to do the same. If you are reading this you have probably watched the training on the front page, or you are about to book a call with me.

I mention that because a privacy policy is usually the most faceless page on a website, and I would rather you knew who was actually holding your details. It is me and a small team, not a call centre.

The company behind it is Apex Crown Consulting LLC, trading as The Dynamic Closer, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA, at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. That company is the data controller for everything described below.

For anything at all to do with your data, including asking to see it, correct it or have it deleted, email help@thedynamiccloser.com and it comes to us directly.

What we collect, and when

Browsing this page. We use Google Analytics, and advertising measurement, to understand how this page performs - how many people arrive, how far into the video they get, how many book a call, and which advert or link sent them. These set cookies in your browser when the page loads, including an identifier that lets us recognise the same browser on a later visit. What is received is that identifier, your rough location from your IP address, your browser and device type, and which of those actions happened during your visit. Other third-party services load as part of the page and set their own storage, described under "Third parties" below.

How to refuse it. We do not currently show a cookie banner, so if you would rather not be measured this way, you can block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install Google's official opt-out add-on. The page works exactly the same either way.

Booking a call. The booking calendar is provided by Calendly. When you book, you give Calendly your name, email address and the answers to the questions on the booking form, and we receive that information. We use it to decide whether the programme is a fit for you and to contact you about your application.

Watching the video. The training video is hosted by Wistia, which records viewing data such as how much of the video was watched. We use this to judge whether the video is working, not to identify you personally.

Why we are allowed to use it

Where you submit a booking, we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you started. For the measurement described above, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding whether this page and our advertising work. You can object to that at any time by the methods listed above, or by emailing us.

Call recordings

Calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes.

Third parties

Wistia hosts and serves the training video and the client videos. It saves a small amount of data in your browser: an identifier of its own, and how far through the video you got, so that if you come back the video picks up where you left it rather than starting again.

Calendly provides the booking calendar and processes what you enter into it. The calendar loads inside this page and sets its own cookies when it does - security and bot-protection cookies from Cloudflare, and one from Stripe, which Calendly uses for fraud prevention.

Google Fonts serves the typeface, which involves your browser requesting files from Google. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are described above and set cookies of their own.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data, and each may transfer data outside the UK under its own safeguards. If you would rather none of it was stored, blocking site data for this page in your browser settings stops all of it; the page still works, but the video will not remember your place.

We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep application and enquiry data for as long as we are in contact with you about it, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Where you become a customer, we keep records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes, and then delete them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. Email help@thedynamiccloser.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK and are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new date at the top.
